Success Story: Wallstreet Mortgage Company

The Company

Wallstreet Mortgage Company (WMC) is a full-service mortgage brokerage that offers a variety of products and services, including purchase loans, refinancing, second mortgages, land loans and construction financing. Their clients include homeowners, investors, builders and real estate professionals throughout California and Oregon. The organization also provides financing for income and commercial properties such as apartments, office buildings, medical office facilities, industrial buildings, retail properties and mini-storage purchased throughout the western United States.

The Issue

Due to a downturn in the real estate market, WMC was looking for new ways to attract potential borrowers. In the past, the company’s marketing efforts had included a variety of tactics: newspaper and radio advertising, the Yellow Pages, regional real estate web sites and local sponsorships. However, none of these efforts were producing the desired results.

The Solution

Aware of the increasing popularity of online video advertising, WMC decided to try Jivox’s service. The company used stock video and music from the AdSlate library to create a video ad. WMC’s ad featured a spinning money cube, music, text and a promotional coupon that offered free appraisals to new customers. Leveraging the Jivox Publisher Network, the ad was published in the San Francisco metropolitan area, as well as in other cities in Northern California.

The Results

WMC immediately experienced a spike in web traffic, which was directly attributed to the ads they had placed with Jivox. The coupon offering a “free appraisal” was downloaded 48 times over the course of their initial ad campaign.
